Dr. Debra Dupree know it sounds funny, perhaps odd, that I am enthusiastic and passionate about dispute resolution. I dislike seeing people struggle in conflict when workable solutions exist and they just don't know it.
My passion is to help leaders and dispute resolution professionals discover the path to resolution instead of a life in trouble.
Where did I uncover and discover this pathway to resolution?
Well, having grown up in a family on the younger end of 9 children, to be seen and not heard, in the midst of a family-owned business, I saw plenty of high tensions, mismanaged conflict, broken hearts and hurt relationships, sometimes beyond repair. A real loss to all impacted.
Given our Scandinavian heritage, we didn’t deal well with conflict much less express real emotion. Heck, I didn't even know or understand the emotions I experienced. I had to find my voice and do some deep work early in life. I wasn't happy.
I didn't want to keep living that way and chose a pathway of education and line of work to make a difference in the lives of others and with influence.
Our goal is to Influence millions of minds worldwide.
We do this through keynote speaking, podcasts, workshops, webinars, meeting facilitation, mediation, articles and books... all of this available at your feet or in the cloud.
Dr. Debra Dupree celebrated our 10th anniversary in 2021, doing business as Relationships at Work, Inc., which is pretty incredible given that the last two years were under COVID-19 conditions. We made it in spite of cancelled contracts and a major transition to online and hybrid services. COVID while horrific also generated many new and wonderful opportunities.
Ever since our launch in 2011, we've been providing professional development and dispute resolution services for emerging leaders, business owners, lawyers and mediators. And, Dr. Debra Dupree plan to continue for another 10 and more!
